History of IDFC Bank:

Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC Bank) is a financial company, which provides finance and advisory services for infrastructure projects, asset management, and investment banking. In 2015, The company has entered the banking industry with its venture.

In April 2014, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) approved two institutions among 25 banking candidates. IDFC Bank – A new bank in the banking industry, was one of the non-banking financial companies (NBFC). The firm had received a banking license from RBI on July 23, 2015.

Established: Jan 1997 (under the recommendations of Rakesh Mohan panel)

Banking License: It received banking license by Reserve Bank of India in 2014 but the bank started operations on 1st October 2015

The bank has divided itself into four separate parts of banking:

IDFC bank login:

Here, I am going to tell you steps to login IDFC bank online. IDFC bank login is also known as IDFC net banking login. We create a username that we like, and a password instantly.

  1. Login to IDFC Bank website and choose login (the lock symbol in the upper right-hand corner)
  2. Select Personal and Business Banking
  3. Click on Create Your User Name
  4. Enter Customer ID and click on submit
  5. Enter Account Number or Debit Card Number
  6. Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number
  7. Select your User Name and create your own Internet Banking Password and click on Continue
  8. Accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking Create my Username and you are all done to use all our services offered on Internet Banking.

Note:

User ID has to be between 6- 10 characters which can be alphanumeric in nature.

The password should be between 6-15 characters and one can use a combination of characters, alphabets, numbers to create one. Alphabets and numbers are compulsory.

Steps to retrieve User ID are

    • Click on Forgot Username
    • Enter Customer ID and click on submit
    • Enter Account Number or Debit Card Number and relevant details
    • Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number
    • We will send it to you on your Email, on your Mobile & show it on the screen too!!!

Retrieving your Internet Banking Password

You can set a new password in a few simple steps

  • Click on Forgot Password
  • Enter the User ID
  • Enter the OTP received and create your new password.
